Gandhi Alliance for Peace and the Utah Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons
Two film classics from the nuclear weapons information genre will be screened at St. Ambrose this month: First on 7/17, at 7 PM.
The first film, on 7/17, Nuclear Savage, is a compelling documentation of downwinder history, here in the intermountain west and in the Marshall Islands of the Pacific Ocean. A strong connection to the present is the recent—7/7/18—Salt Lake Tribune front page piece about the newly proposed U.S. Congressional legislation to more justly compensate those who suffered from exposure to toxic fallout.
