| Musical Tribute Criteria |
1. The applicants must be affiliated with a local faith that meets the standards of the Roundtable - for example, a faith that works in harmony with the members of the group.
2. The applicants must agree to the time allotment.
3. The presentation must be approved by the Musical Tribute Committee.
4. The message must be about educating Utahns about their faith or about what their faith has in common with others.
5. The program will usually not comprise more than 50% choirs or singing. Dancing, poetry, speaking, guided meditation
and other options will be sought to fill in at least the other 50%.
6. In the sequencing for the program, we strive not to have more than 2 choirs in a row.
7. It is not a talent show, a Broadway production, or the like. It is about Spirituality and Interfaith.
8. Political messages, candidate or political measure positions are not part of the Tribute.
9. While in most circumstances the Tribute is limited to Utah participants, The Musical Tribute Committee may approve special exceptions when there is a visiting national or international group that promotes a major goal of the Roundtable. |
